Project Kick-Off Meeting

MAKING PASTA WITH SUSTAINABLE ENERGY: HIFLEX
PROJECT KICKED-OFF!

The kick-off meeting of the HiFlex project, coordinated by
NexChem and KT-Kinetics Technology took place in Foggia
(Puglia Region) at Barilla’s industrial facility. All 11 partners of the
consortium joined the official start of the project, which was a great
opportunity for them to meet in person and get a broad overview of
the goal, challenges, and tasks in the project. First fruitful discussions
about the project implementation was started and working package
partners could deliberate on the next steps in their tasks. Finally, a
guided tour through Barilla’s pasta production facilities gave all
participants an impressive insight into the full-automated production
of one of mankind’s favorite meals.
